Due to its tight and twisty nature (only 5 miles in length), and often described as a big go-kart track, overtaking is a challenge. Despite this, a win at the Hungaroring is often a hint of things to come; Damon Hill took his first ever win at the Hungaroring, as did Fernando Alonso, and Jenson Button. Being located near Budapest, the Hungaroring is also a fantastic location to spend a long weekend. With its fantastic architecture, great night-life, and abundance of bath-houses, Budapest should be on everyone's F1 list.
